“I am very passionate about Mental Health and Wellbeing and thoroughly enjoy offering school counselling services.
My mission is to bridge the gap between private practice, where the therapy is open ended, and the charity sector, where the therapy is often time limited.
I feel by doing this it will allow young people the time they need to build trust with the counsellor and open up more about their mental health and struggles so we can work together to help them to feel better.”

WORKSHOPS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, TEACHERS AND PARENTS
Mental health workshops in schools offer several benefits for parents, students, and teachers.
For parents, these workshops provide valuable insights into understanding and supporting their child’s emotional well-being. It equips them with effective communication strategies and the ability to recognize signs of mental health challenges.
Students benefit by gaining essential coping skills, stress management techniques, and a deeper self-awareness that enhances their overall mental resilience.
Teachers, on the other hand, receive valuable tools for recognizing and addressing students’ emotional needs in the classroom, fostering a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Additionally, mental health workshops contribute to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health, creating a shared understanding among parents, students, and teachers that ultimately promotes a healthier and more understanding school community.
